It’s hard to imagine that we are over half way in the Daisy Days blog tour. It has been so much fun following along all these incredible makers and their gorgeous projects. It really is a very special feeling seeing your fabric come to life in quilts, and bags and gorgeous little handmade projects.
To add to the fun, today I am sharing a quick little home decor project I whipped up with some of my Daisy Days scraps. I LOVE how this turned out and will cherish this piece for so many years. I love sitting in our sitting room looking over at my Daisy Days chair and into the studio where so many of my dreams evolve into realities. These prints are what started me on this crazy journey and I couldn’t love each piece more!
These are 4 1/2″ squares sewn together in a very simple patchwork layout. I basted and quilted these with straight line stitches 1/4″ from each seam. FJ championed the whole project and got busy with the staple gun to make my little chair cover the work of art it is. I have GREAT upholstery ideas and he has the skill to do it! My little patchwork tuffet would never have worked had my guy not been around that late, late night!
