I’d always been asked why I didn’t have any mini versions of my quilt patterns. To be one hundred percent truthful with you all, I just didn’t get the mini quilt thing?! It was something that I hadn’t made a lot of, and because I’m such a lover and advocate of bigger blocks it just never appealed to me. That is, until I received a mini quilt made so beautifully from a Thimble Blossoms pattern. It was divine, and I fell head over heels in love with the intricate pieces, the fabric choices and such beautiful teeny stitches.
Its safe to say I get it now, I love that a mini pattern is a quick and easy project that can be turned into a cushion, a table topper or our favourite around here, a doll’s quilt! I’ve made four in just over a week and I’m already lining up more designs to be scaled down into these Postcard Patterns.
So, without further ado – here is the lineup of the newest additions to the LIVE.LOVE.SEW pattern family: our Postcard Pattern collection!
I went with crowd favourites here guys, and am gauging your interest from here – do you love them? Do I do more?! Each Postcard Pattern is printed on A5 Card and is a single back-to-back card pattern – perfect for filing away, or pinninng to your noticeboard ;-). I’m so pleased that Ava & Neve gave me the final push to get these made up, and they look absolutely stunning in all those gorgeous Liberty prints.
If you are at the Brisbane Craft & Quilt Fair this week, you can pick yourself up the first of these patterns, hot off the press at the Ava and Neve stand – E21. PDF versions are also available through our store.
Until next time, keep quilting!
