x’s and o’s {a pattern}

It feels like I have been sitting on this design and this quilt for so long {it really only has been a few months!}. I am so excited to announce my new pattern x’s and o’s!

The original baby quilt was made after I picked up a charm pack, some white solid fabric and started to play around with designs in my EQ7 program. This quilt was designed for new babe Ruby and I wanted something that was really sweet but had a modern edge {like her super-stunning-ly stylish mumma!}.

This pattern is available as a pdf download here via the live.love.sew pattern co. shop and has fabric requirements and instructions for both the baby/crib and twin size quilts. Simple design that has a big impact with its lattice-type effect. I love that you get the effect of x’s one way, and o’s the other. Just like a giant game of tic-tac-toe!

I really do owe the final I’ve-got-a-real-quilt-pattern-for-sale status to my husband and some of my closest friends for their amazing support {my husband very much thinks I have a quilting problem…!}. A super big thankyou though must go to Cristina {who also wants to be just like Lori Holt when she ‘grows up’!} – we had been emailing back and forwards this past week about her gorgeous new quilt and her kind words gave me that extra push to just hit ‘publish’ on this one – I am secretly just as scared as I am excited about it all. My only hope is that my readers love this as much as I do, and maybe want to share it with their readers {a few that want to purchase it is also a great bonus!}.

In true celebratory style I am offering a few bonuses for my readers and followers:

Note: This giveaway is now closed – thankyou so much to everyone who left comments, purchased patterns and are following along on this journey – I love you all and am so thankful for your support!

In partnership with The Fat Quarter Shop {can someone pinch me please!} we are offering a giveaway of a $50 gift certificate to the fat quarter shop and a free copy of the pattern. To enter simply head over to the fat quarter shop’s layer cake page and tell me which layer cake/10” stacker you would use in your x’s and o’s quilt. Winners will be drawn at 5pm on 14 March 2014 {AEST} by random.org. I will give a second entry into the giveaway for those who follow live.love.sew pattern co. – just tell me in a second comment how you follow {bloglovin, email subscription, facebook etc}. Good luck!

Next up is a 50% discount on the x’s and o’s pattern using the code HALFOFF at checkout {offer only valid until 14 March 2014}.

Please email me {via the email button on the sidebar} if you have any questions.

Can’t wait to see your own x’s and o’s project!

{and she signs all her letters with x’s and o’s…!}

    Congrats on the new pattern, it’s adorable. I would have many choice to do your x’s and o’s quilt. April Showers by Bonnie & Camille for Moda, Bee My Honey by Mary Jane Butler for Moda and Country Girls by Tasha Noel for Riley Blake Designs. Too hard to decided which one so would just have to do one in each fabric…lol
